The Grenade Range was created as a performance piece at California State University, Northridge. The work portrays the experiences and sacrifices of combat veterans with the purpose of allowing a group of non military artists to partake in the Grenade Range demonstration. They were taken through the range safety brief and periods of instructions. The turnout of the engagement allowed for an interesting connection tying in performance art through military practice. The casted grenades captured the enactment upon impact and allows for viewers and participants to engage in a conversation that joins military operations with visual performance.
